December Dates to Remember
Here are some important December dates to remember:
5-7 The Free clinic will not be seeing patients
21 Clinic will close at noon
26 Clinic will be closed for Christmas
27 Clinic will re-open with normal hours.

The end of the year is drawing closer everyday. Are you still in need of charitable contributions, for your taxes, before the end of 2017? Hurricane Irma
Hurricane Irma is currently predicted to come this way on Tuesday and Wednesday, due to this possibility there are a few things to be aware of:
1. If Galax City Schools are closed the Free Clinic will be closed also.
2. Please check with the clinic Tuesday and Wednesday mornings to be sure we are open.
3. If Irma does come this way after we get here Tuesday morning and we lose power or the situation becomes dangerous, we will close and reschedule appointments.
4. Remember our Dr. lives farther South than most of us so there is a good chance that he will not be able to make it in.

25TH ANNIVERSARY OPEN HOUSE
Saturday August 19th the Free Clinic will be hosting an open house to celebrate our 25th anniversary. There will be live music and refreshments. Please come out and show your support for the Free Clinic of the Twin Counties.

Dental, Medical and Vision Clinic
Wanted to take a minute to let our patients know that there will be a FREE Dental clinic in Smyth County. The dates are Friday- Sunday May 5 – 7. The address is 8223 Lee Highway Rural Retreat, VA 24368. Registration 6 AM daily with services provided to the uninsured, underinsured and those who cannot afford to pay. They will also be providing medical and vision service also.

We are in need of volunteer nurses. If you are currently licensed and would like to volunteer some time, please come by the Free Clinic and pick up an application.
